Arise, sweet Hope! It's Spring. 🌸

Look at Elder and Rose,
The gentle Queens of the forest,
Reach their many-ancestored,
Healing hands,
Green-gloved,
Up.
Up out of her deep-rooted
Bedchamber,
Arms raised,
Awaiting ladies maid,
Spring,
To adorn her her flouncy petticoats
And verdant bonnets.
Arise, sweet Hope! It's Spring.
🌸
Look at Gorse and Willow,
Already out of their armchairs.
Observe them, with their firesides set aside,
Stretching to action for their summer work.
And so, as Gloom and Self Pity have Left their
Hearths, and winter comfort,
So can Gloom and Self Pity leave your
Heart and discomfort.
Arise, sweet Hope! It's Spring!
